On The Road Again, And Again, And Again!

It's been busy here. And it doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

Mike left for Texas Sunday, and Zach hasn't stopped talking about him since! Very sweet.

My inlaws arrive tonight and Zach is very excited about that! They will be here for about a week. Nana, Papa!! I've heard this also more times than I can count.

My three boys leave for Canada Saturday. Goin' fishin'! And me, well I'm here. I'm hoping to get some quiet time, shopping time, and time with friends!

Let The Bounty Begin!!!

This is our first harvest. You're looking at fresh basil, parsley and green onions. The aromas were incredible. We have made our first batch of pesto with the fresh basil. We saved some fresh green onions and parsley, and put the rest in the dehydrator. I am really looking forward to the broccoli, corn, zucchini, and eggplant. We also planted chili red peppers, jalapenos, habaneros, green peppers, tomatoes, pole beans, green beans, snap peas, spinach, lettuce, cucumbers, butternut squash, oregano, elephant garlic, cantaloupe, and watermelon. Okra is soon to be planted. I know I've probably left something out. Needless to say we enjoy the garden.

A New Beginning

Today is a new beginning. For my blog, and for Z. It's official he is now a freshman! Hard to believe my baby is in high school.

Now as for my blog . . . It's a work in progress, so bear with me.
